It will be focused in "Autonomic regulation of the heart: Physiological and Integrative aspects".

This issue aims to disseminate investigations on the autonomic nervous system and its relationship with the cardiovascular system; considering: autonomic ganglia, the innervation of blood vessels and viscera, efferent and afferent autonomic athways and autonomic nuclei and pathways in the central nervous system.

This issue includes manuscripts that deal with any aspect of the autonomic nervous system, including functional anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, development, evolution, ageing, behavioural aspects, integrative role and influence on emotional and physical states. Studies on animals and human pathology are wellcome.

The main types of contribution are full-length articles, short communications and review articles.

The articles published are subjected to iMedPub's article processing charges. This charges are, by far, the lowest article processing charges of all medical publishers.
