"Ionizing and non-ionizing radiations and pathogens control", Special Topic Issue in Open Journal of Medicine

Dear colleague,

It is my pleasure to let you know I have been designated as Guest Editor to edit an special topic issue in Open Journal of Medicine (ojmedicine.com, ISSN:2174-680X).

It will be focused in "Ionizing and non-ionizing radiations and pathogens control".

Irradiation is not a new technology and is used in several domains such as wastewater treatment, food and medical equipment sterilization.

Therefore, Ionizing and non-ionizing radiations are often used to control pathogens. This special issue will focus on the biological effects (physiological, biochemical) of ionizing and non-ionizing
radiations and their applications in pathogens control.

In this respect, we invite submission of research and review manuscripts that cover any aspect scientific research interested to study bacterial, fungal or viral irradiation. I look forward to your contributions that will promote further developments in this field.

The main types of contribution are full-length articles, short communications and review articles.

The articles published are subjected to iMedPub's article processing charges. This charges are, by far, the lowest article processing charges of all medical publishers.

I hope we can count with your contributions soon. Deadline is 31th August. You can submit online here. Please, in the first step "Comments" write "This manuscript is for for the special issue Ionizing and non-ionizing radiations and pathogens control".

Looking forward to receive your manuscripts.
Best wishes
