"Nephrology practice in the community", Special Topic Issue in Archives of Medicine


Dear colleague:
It is my pleasure to let you know I have been designated as Guest Editor to edit an special topic issue in Archives of Medicine (archivesofmedicine.com, ISSN: 19895216)

It will be focused in "Nephrology practice in the community". The incidence of Chronic Kidney Disease has increased worldwide. Assessing the patient's renal function accurately is important not only for avoidance of certain medications and dosage adjustments but also because renal function forms an important prognostic indicator for several diseases. Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) in a problem in many an unstable patient. Several systemic illnesses adversely affect kidney function and viceversa. Some kidney diseases may also have their association with malignancies and other diseases. Reasonably current working knowledge of kidney diseases and common sense are invariable requirements of community care. Ths issue includes manuscripts that deal with any aspect of AKI. Studies on animals and human pathology are wellcome.

The main types of contribution are full-length articles, short communications and review articles.
The articles published are subjected to iMedPub's article processing charges. This charges are, by far, the lowest article processing charges of all medical publishers.
